Jodi Arias has been on trial for six days after testifying that she killed her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in self-defense.

She has weaved a tale of innocence lost, deviant sex, pedophilic tendencies and abuse. It one of her latest stints on the stand, the defense played a recording of a phone sex conversation between Arias and Alexander after they had already broken up.

It seems the defense was attempting to prove that Alexander, whom the 32-year-old admitted killer portrays a sexual deviant with a Mormon exterior, was aroused by children.

In the tape, he is heard saying that he wants to rape Arias and it's “hot” when she sounds like a 12-year-old girl during an orgasm.

"I'm going to tie you to a tree and put it in your a**," Alexander can be heard saying in the recording.

"Oh my gosh, that is so debasing, I like it," Arias responded.

It sounded like the two had a consensual sexual conversation in the phone call, but according to Arias she was just playing along with Alexander’s fantasies because he “thrived on compliments.”

Friends of Alexander have told media outlets their murdered friend said Arias was a nymphomaniac who enjoyed their relationship.

"You're pretty, you're so attractive," Alexander said later in the call. "I've never seen you look bad in my life. There are times when you've looked miserable and I've still, like, raped you."

Arias defense team played the tape in the Phoenix court for the jury to show them that Alexander was not the devout Mormon virgin he appeared to be. They wanted to portray him as a conflicted individual who expressed and shared his erotic sex life and fantasies with Arias.

The defense is trying to convince the jury the victim was an abusive, sex-obsessed individual whom Arias could have plausibly killed in self-defense on June 4, 2008.

"I get the impression there aren't a lot of Mormon guys like (you). There are probably plenty of freaky Mormon girls, but are they the marrying type? Are the girls the type you'd want to marry, or the guys the type I'd like to marry, someone like you who can be freaky? I worry about that. There are plenty of guys out there, but I worry about not blossoming to my full potential in the sexual realm. I have plenty of blossoming left to do," she said on the call.

The tape shows how Arias agreed with all of Alexander’s suggestions, trying to please him -- but that’s not to say the pleasure wasn’t hers also.

Alexander tells Arias that she looked “so hot” when she wore pig-tails in the bathtub when they had sex.

When she orgasms on the phone call he told her, "You sound like a 12 year old having an orgasm, that's so hot, like little girl."

"You're bad, you make me feel so dirty," Arias responded.

If Arias is convicted of the murder she could face the death penalty.
