After the debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Joe Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris on Wednesday evening, T-shirt and other memorabilia commemorating the event began to surface on the internet.

Catchword phrases such as “I’m Speaking” adorned several T-shirts on Etsy sellers’ shops after Harris called Pence out for interrupting her during the debate.

Other references to the debate that found their way on to T-shirts, face masks, and coffee mugs among other products included “Excuse me, Mr. Vice President, I’m speaking” and “The fly doesn’t lie,” which referred to a rogue fly that landed on Pence as he spoke during the debate.

Biden’s campaign site also began selling fly swatters for $10 that said “Truth Over Flies.”

Capitalizing on the fly moment with Pence, Biden created a campaign fundraising event by posting a photo of himself with a fly swatter on Twitter, asking for $5 donations to “help this campaign fly.”

Biden also tweeted a second post on Twitter that gave the link “flywillvote.com” that directed users to iwillvote.com – a site where they could check if they were registered to vote among other voting information.

This is not the first time that the Biden campaign jumped on a key debate comment. The presidential hopeful started selling “Will You Shut up, Man” T-shirts after making the comment during the first debate with Trump after the president also interrupted him. The T-shirts went on sale before the debate was even over, selling for $30 each.

Trump’s fight with COVID-19 has also been documented in a promotional piece from the White House Gift Shop, which has no affiliation with the White House or the Trump campaign. The shop is selling commemorative coins in a “Trump defeats COVID” design. The coins are said to have a “superheroes motif” and sell for $100.
