Joe Biden Leaves Special Mark On Pennsylvania With ‘White House’ Autograph
Before leaving Pennsylvania after a rally on Monday, Former Vice President and Presidental Democratic nominee, Joe Biden made a stop in his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Tuesday morning to visit his childhood home.
Throughout the years Biden has continuously visited his former Scranton home. In 2008, when he was running for VP, he stopped by and signed the wall of his childhood room at the request of the owner and wrote, “I am home,” according to Politico.
Twelve years later, Biden is back to do the same thing. This time, he signed one of the living room walls and wrote, “From this house to the White House with the grace of God. Joe Biden 11-3-2020.”
Pennsylvania is considered a battleground state that’s crucial in the upcoming presidential election. This single state could determine who wins and who will be the next president of the U.S.
If President Donald Trump wins North Carolina, Florida and Ohio, Pennsylvania will be the prime deciding state, according to GOP pollster Frank Luntz stated.
Polls show Biden with just a slight lead over Trump of 5 points, according to a Washington Post survey. Voters showed up before sunrise to get in line to cast their votes as soon as the polling places opened at 7 a.m. in the Keystone State.
Axios reporter Alexi McCammond tweeted out the photo, and there were many responses from users from both political parties.
