Joe Giudice Reminisces Past As Ex Teresa Giudice Celebrates Christmas With Blended Family

Joe Giudice and ex-wife Teresa Giudice spent Christmas very differently this year as the former is back in his home country while the latter is with their daughters in the U.S.

On Christmas Day, Joe, 49, couldn’t help but look back on the time when he spent the holiday season with his kids. He took to Instagram to share a clip from the earlier seasons of “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

In the video, Joe could be seen lounging on the sofa while watching his four daughters go through their presents by the fireplace. Since Joe was too tired to get up, he just observed his daughters with the help of a video camera.

“Merry Christmas,” he captioned the post along with the hashtags #merrychristmas and #memories.

The post was quickly met with a flurry of comments from his fans who sympathized with the patriarch as he was unable to spend Christmas this year with his now grown-up kids, Gia, 20, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 12.

“Sad Joe can’t be with his family,” one wrote.

“You’re such a good daddy to those girls and they know it! Merry Christmas,” another commented.

Meanwhile, Teresa, 49, had a blast as she got to spend Christmas with her blended family with husband-to-be Luis “Louie” Ruelas, 46.

One photo Teresa shared showed her and Luis standing in front of their Christmas tree with her daughters and his son, Louie Jr., 18. Ruelas’ other son, Nicholas, was not present in the snap.

“Merry Christmas from our family to yours,” the reality star wrote.

In a follow-up post, Teresa gave her fans a closer look at her and her four daughters as they posed together on the same spot in their house. She accompanied the photo with a sweet message for her children.

“To my daughters, if I could give you one thing, it would be to see yourselves as I do, your beauty, grace and kindness. I am so proud of all four of you,” she captioned the post.

Fans also flooded Teresa’s posts with positive messages. Some were happy to see the kids all-grown-up. Others praised Teresa for being an excellent mom to the girls.

“Your daughters are beautiful. You are such a great mom. It has been a pleasure to watch them grow up! Cheers to you all! Merry Christmas,” wrote one follower.

“Your girls have grown up to be such beautiful young ladies, just like you. I’m so happy and proud,” added another.

Joe and Teresa tied the knot on Oct. 23, 1999. After the couple served separate sentences for fraud in 2015 and 2016, Joe was deported back to his home country, Italy, in October 2019. Shortly after, Teresa filed for divorce since she was not willing to maintain a long-distance relationship.

While Joe is no longer part of the Bravo series, Teresa and her daughters, as well as her new beau, are still starring on the show. The official trailer for Season 12, which dropped last week, showed Teresa’s daughters clashing with their mom's brother Joe Gorga after he attacked their father.

“She looks at me like I’m the devil. Their father was the devil,” Gorga said in the intense clip, referring to the former couple’s eldest daughter, Gia.

Gia then fired back at her uncle, saying, “That’s when I walk away from you,” before turning around and leaving a stunned Gorga behind.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 12 premieres Feb. 1 on Bravo.
