Joe Giudice Shares Cryptic Post Following Ex-Wife Teresa Giudice’s Engagement

Joe Giudice seemingly reacted to the news that his ex-wife Teresa Giudice has gotten engaged.

The 49-year-old former reality star took to Instagram Friday to share a cryptic post about being thankful for his personal struggle.

“I’m thankful for my struggle because without it I wouldn’t have stumbled across my strength,” read the message that he shared on the platform.

Many fans reacted to Joe’s post, with some of them linking it to Teresa, who is not only his ex-wife but also the mother of his four children.

“I hate that she gave up on you. I’m mad about it and it has nothing to do with me. You are such a good father. Much love Joe [red heart emoji]. Nobody deserves what has happened to you,” one fan wrote.

“Your heart must hurt just a little…but at the same time… you have to be happy that Teresa is happy [red heart emoji],” another commented.

Joe’s post came days after it was revealed that Teresa, 49, and Luis Ruelas, 46, got engaged while they were vacationing in Greece.

People broke the news on the engagement that took place at a Porto Heli resort Tuesday. The outlet even shared snaps from the romantic and dreamy proposal that involved sparklers, candles, roses and fireworks.

“It was absolutely exquisite. The choreographed fireworks display illuminated a ‘Marry Me’ sign as Louie got down on one knee. Teresa was completely surprised,” one source told People of the engagement.

Ruelas is Teresa’s first serious relationship since splitting from Joe. The mother of four started seeing the businessman, who has two sons from a previous relationship, about a month after her divorce from Joe was finalized in September 2020.

Meanwhile, Teresa and Joe tied the knot in October 1999, and they were married for 20 years before they called it quits in December 2019. Their breakup came after Joe was deported back to his home country Italy following his prison stint for fraud charges, according to Us Weekly.

In one episode of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” at the time, Teresa said that she’s not willing to commit to a long-distance relationship with Joe since she and her daughters were opting to stay in the U.S.

Joe and Teresa share four kids, Gia, 20, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 12.
