Joe Jonas Still Single, Dismisses Rumors He’s Dating Gigi Hadid

There doesn’t seem to be any romance brewing between Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid. Despite being seen having lunch with the model last week, Jonas says he is a single man.

The 25-year-old singer dropped by "Access Hollywood" on Thursday. When asked about rumors of him dating Hadid, he replied “I’m a single man.” Co-host Kit Hoover even showed Jonas pictures of him with the Guess model, suggesting that he was young and in love. But the singer just played it cool and wouldn’t take the bait.

Us Weekly reported last week that the “I Can Do That!” star was seen having lunch with Hadid at Cheebo in West Hollywood. Seeing both of them hanging out together was what started speculation that the two might be dating.

Their lunch “date” came just days after news that Hadid and Cody Simpson had split up. On May 9, E! News reported that Hadid and Simpson decided to call it quits, citing busy schedules and blaming career commitments. Hadid’s representative told E! News that both remained friends with no hard feelings for each other.

Meanwhile, Jonas has been single since his breakup with model Blanda Eggenschwiler in August 2014. Prior to that, he romanced Camille Belle, Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift. Swift, who’s been known to write songs about her breakups, apparently wrote 2009's “Forever & Always” with Jonas in mind.

Jonas admits that he’s OK with being the subject for the hit song, saying writing songs about each other is part of being a musician. He even admits how they remained friends and are on good terms with each other, adding, "In this industry you meet a lot of people and you stay in touch. Obviously, it's tough to be friends with people that are always constantly traveling, but yeah, we're cool."
