John Cena Tweets About ‘Negativity’ After Nikki Bella Shares Old Instagram Photo
Nikki Bella caused fans to fly into a frenzy when she shared a photo of herself and ex-fiancé John Cena on Thanksgiving, fueling rumors the couple could be getting back together. Days after the sentimental photo was posted, the 41-year-old took to Twitter to share a cryptic message about negativity.
Bella and Cena first announced their break up in April, weeks ahead of their spring wedding date. Although they briefly reconciled and moved forward with their wedding plans, they split for good over the summer.
However, fans begin to believe the exes were reconciling when Bella posted a picture of the two cuddling in a hot tub to her Instagram story. Despite speculations about the former couple rekindling their romance, those close to the “Total Divas” star told TMZ the wrestlers are both single and aren’t dating.
Insiders revealed Bella was simply posting things she was thankful for, and Cena happened to be on that list. On Tuesday, the “Bumblebee” actor took to Twitter to encourage his followers to let go of negative situations.
“Dealing with negativity is part of life and is never fun. Its grip is always the strongest when it comes from those you hold close. Do your best to address those difficult moments. If they continue, maybe don’t hold those people so close,” he tweeted.
Following their break up, Cena was open about his desire to fix his relationship so the two could spend the rest of their lives together, but Bella was determined to work on herself. “I just feel like I’m at that age where I’m discovering who I really am and what I want out of life and just, like, independence,” she previously told Entertainment Tonight.
Since their split, Cena and Bella reportedly stopped speaking to one another and have turned their focus to their individual careers. Although the two continue to work together due to their employment with the WWE, those close to the break up don’t believe the stars will get back together.
