John Cena and Dwanye “The Rock” Johnson, two iconic WWE superstars, have both made a name for themselves in the movie industry. But which of these two world-famous wrestlers earns more?

Cena, 44, has an estimated net worth of $60 million as of 2020, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Cena made his debut with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), now known as the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), in October 2000 in a SmackDown match against Mikey Richardson, which he lost. He redeemed himself three months later by winning a SmackDown match and scored a developmental deal with the WWF.

After winning the championship in 2004, he became the face of the WWE for the next decade. Cena has won 16 world championships, including 13 as WWE champion.

In 2016, Cena topped Forbes’ list of the highest-paid WWE wrestlers with a salary of $9.5 million. He dropped to second place the following year after earning $8 million.

The Rock, 49, topped Forbes' list of the highest-paid actors in the world for 2020, earning $87.5 million thanks to his movie projects, “Black Adam” and “Red Notice.” Johnson can get over $20 million per film, Forbes reported.

He also has TV shows, such as NBC's “The Titan Games” and upcoming series “Young Rock,” as well as a clothing, shoe and headphone collection with Under Armor called Project Rock.

Johnson began his career as an actor in 2001 playing the Scorpion King in “The Mummy Returns” and the sequel “The Scorpion King.” In 2011, he landed a major deal to play Luke Hobbs in the fifth installment of the hit franchise “Fast and Furious,” ScreenRant reported.
