Johnny Depp And Vanessa Paradis 'Amicably' Split After 14 Years Together
Johnny Depp and his long-time girlfriend Vanessa Paradis officially split, after rumors of a rift, according to the actor's publicist.
Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children, Depp's publicist said. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children.
The couple began drifting apart after moving back to Los Angeles from France. It's been over a year since the two have appeared on the red carpet together. The duo has two children, Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 9.
Depp, 48, denied there was a rift between the two as early as May.
The rumors are not true. They are absolutely not true, said the actor on the red carpet premiere of his new Tim Burton movie 'Dark Shadows.'
The two first met in 1998, when Depp spotted Paradis at a bar in Paris. The two eventually got together and had two children while living in Plan-de-la-Tour in southern France. Depp said the arrangement gave him a marvelous family and also an equilibrium which I missed enormously.
Paradis also gushed about her man in 2010 in the Marie Claire U.K.
I could make an endless list of all the things I admire about him, she said. We understand that, if we want our relationship to continue, we must give each other space, allow each other to go off on our own, and trust each other. Not everyone is lucky enough to be given space and trust.
