Johnny Depp revealed that he was annoyed at the prospect of Amber Heard working with James Franco while he was still married to the actress.

According to The Guardian, Depp admitted to being jealous and confessed that he was bothered when he learned that Heard might work again with Franco because he believed that the latter made inappropriate sexual advances to the “Aquaman” star.

“I was uncomfortable with that, yes, because it was quite inconsistent with the feelings that she had told me of,” Depp explained.

Meanwhile, Heard also said she was worried how her husband would react to her doing nude scenes. Her lawyers alleged that Depp prevented her from wearing revealing outfits on the red carpet and taking roles with nudity.

“Well, I would never tell her what to wear, but I would certainly make mention if I thought what she was wearing was completely against the grain of what she told me her wishes were, because I did not find it very helpful to what she was looking for in terms of being taken seriously as an actress. I told her she did not have to be naked in films,” Depp said.

Depp also admitted that he “was uncomfortable with the idea of her doing nudity.” However, it sprang from her confession that she did not want to be seen as a sexy symbol.

“She was upset that she was being objectified and she wanted to do deeper material, more profound, something where she could show her abilities as an actress,” Depp continued.

When asked if he interfered with Heard’s contract, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star said he only advised Heard of not doing nude scenes because it was not what she wanted in the first place.

“She was telling me how she did not want to be looked at as the pretty girl or did not want to have to get her breasts out or be nude in a film any more. And I said, ‘You do not have to.’ She wanted my advice, and I gave her my advice,” Depp explained.

“Unfortunately, or fortunately, she continued to do the same type of films, and I thought to myself that she was above them.”

The discussion happened during the hearing for Depp’s libel case against The Sun. The actor sued the tabloid for calling him a "wife-beater" following Heard's allegation that he was violent and abusive.

During the trial, Heard also released her unsent email from 2013 that was addressed to Depp. She claimed that he hurt her repeatedly when he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Depp called it “hoax” and said “Ms Heard was building a dossier very early on that appears to be an insurance policy for later.”

The “Fantastic Beasts” star also claimed they took drugs together occasionally. But Depp said his drug or alcohol use never prompted him to hurt anyone.
