Johnny Depp Visits A Wildlife Rescue Center, Cuddles A Badger And Tours Vet Units [Photo]
Johnny Depp, who won a defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard, is spending some quality time at a wildlife rescue center located in England.
The official Facebook page of the Folly Wildlife Rescue center shared a photo of the 58-year-old actor, cuddling a badger. In the photo, the actor can be seen wearing a checked shirt and a green jacket with a cap.
The actor wore his shades while holding the badger with love. "Guess who's been to see us at Folly Wildlife Rescue - no, you're not seeing things- that's the real Johnny Depp!" the official handle captioned the photo.
Following the closing arguments of his trial, Depp went to the United Kingdom and was spotted performing with musician Jeff Beck.
"As you probably know, Johnny has been appearing with our Patron Jeff Beck on his UK tour and in a recent break, Jeff's wife Sandra brought him up to visit us and see for himself the work we do with wildlife," the post added.
It further revealed that Depp's visit made their volunteers and staff members happy as he "toured the hospital's care and vet units. Johnny was incredibly complimentary and in his own words 'blown away' by what he saw."
"To top the visit off, we even allowed him the rare privilege of briefly holding Freddie (as in Mercury!) one of the many orphaned badger cubs we're currently hand rearing," they concluded. "And I think it's fair to say he was bowled over by the whole experience!"
Fans took to the comments section to share their reactions.
"This is why I love Mr. Depp. He loves and cares for the animals. And,oh yeah, he's a cool guy!" a fan wrote. Another fan added, "Lucky you, you won’t be short of volunteers if he visits regularly."
"How fantastic ! What a lovely way for him to wind down after a horrendous time ! So glad he got justice and was able to enjoy some time with your precious animals," another user wrote.
On the work front, Depp is currently filming a miniseries, "Puffins," and he will be next seen in a movie, titled "Jeanne du Barry."
