Johnny Depp’s relationship with the mystery woman in Europe has been revealed. The actor sparked dating rumors earlier this week after he was spotted hanging out with a red-haired woman ahead of his appearance at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy.

Depp has been traveling around Europe since the release of his new album with Jeff Beck on July 15.

On Sunday, photographs of him exiting a van with a woman, helping her with her bag made the rounds online and sparked rumors of a new romance.

However, a source told E! News that the woman is not Depp’s new lover but a French teacher involved in the actor’s upcoming film. The teacher is reportedly a “member of the staff” of “Jeanne du Barry” and shares “no romantic connection whatsoever” with Depp.

Depp will play Louis XV in the film, which will revolve around the life of Jeanne Becu, the French King’s mistress at the time of his death. The film is slated for release in 2023 and will mark Depp’s return to the big screen since the end of his defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard.

Meanwhile, Depp was also filmed reuniting with his attorney, Camille Vasquez, during his musical gig in Prague on Monday. A video of their reunion also went viral on social media, quashing rumors of a romantic relationship between the two.

In the video, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star was seen smiling as Vasquez introduced him to her boyfriend, British businessman Edward Owen. The video shows the astute lawyer putting her hand on her beau’s back as she had a conversation with the actor.

As for Depp, he seemed to be thrilled to meet Owen, as the video shows him giving the businessman a handshake before giving him a warm embrace.

Vasquez’s brilliant performance in the courtroom during Depp and Heard’s defamation trial made her a household name in the U.S., with fans of the actor hoping that he would date her after the ordeal was over.

However, it was revealed that Depp and Vasquez are just friends and that Vasquez is currently in a long-distance relationship with London-based Owen.
