JoJo Siwa opened up about her one-year journey on Instagram over the weekend. The 18-year-old social media influencer and dancer shared a series of photos and videos including one when she was a little kid playing with a baseball.

Siwa, who came out by sharing a photo of a t-shirt that reads "Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever," reshared the photo as she reflected on her "last 365 days." In the next slide, the reality TV star shared the cover of People Magazine which featured her.

In the third slide, she shared a photo from her powerful performance on "Dancing with the Stars" last year. She also shared a video flaunting the same t-shirt that was gifted by her cousin. Siwa also reshared a TikTok and a YouTube video that she uploaded last year. At the end of the slideshow, she shared a photo of herself wearing a pink baseball glove while holding a baseball.

"In the last 365 days I’ve felt more love than ever. A year ago today I posted this picture and shared with the world that I was gay," she captioned the post. "I get asked a lot 'was coming out scary for you'… and the answer is yes of course."

At the same time, however, Siwa also noted that there was "no fear" of sharing her authentic self with the world. "Anything that’s different about you is scary, however… it’s what makes me… me. so I had no fear with sharing it with the world," she added.

Siwa also took a dig at people who often comment on age and her audience, which is mostly kids. The influencer believes she was born to be a role model for the kids and wants to educate kids about loving everyone.

"I also get asked a lot 'your demographic is so young are you worried about telling kids your gay'…. Truthfully I feel like I was put on this earth to be a role model for kids, and letting all the kids of the world know that loving everyone for who they are no matter what is something that I will always believe in and always share," she wrote.

The 18-year-old concluded the post by adding that everyone is perfect in their own way and thanked everyone for showing her love throughout her journey.

On the work front, Siwa will be next seen in a movie titled, "Bounce," which is under pre-production.
