The rumors can end. Jon Gosselin and wife Kate from the TV series Jon & Kate Plus Eigth filed for divorce on Monday afternoon, People Magazine reports.

The divorce documents to initiate a legal split were filed in Pennsylvania today, the magazine reports citing anonymous sources.

TLC network announced the co-stars will unveil life changing decision that they said would affect each member of their family on tonight's episode of Jon & Kate Plus Eight at 9:00 p.m.

Rumors have been spreading that Jon and Kate had been unfaithful to each other, he with a 23-year old teacher and she with her bodyguard. However both have denied those rumors.
