Has Joshua Jackson found love in his "The Affair" co-star Ruth Wilson?

Jackson, 38, broke up with longtime girlfriend Diane Kruger, 40, in July, but it didn't take long before rumors started linking him to ex and fellow "Dawson's Creek" alum Katie Holmes. But after rumors of him rekindling his romance with Holmes were debunked, new reports are now linking Jackson to Wilson, 34, after they were spotted out on a date earlier this week, E! News.

The rumored new couple were seen hanging out together at Gemma Restaurant in New York City, where the co-stars spent eight hours eating, chatting and drinking wine. In the photos obtained by the publication, Jackson and Wilson looked cozy and had a great time during the several hours they spent together.

Despite the photos, however, E! News confirmed that there's no truth behind the dating rumors linking Jackson and Wilson and that the two co-stars are only close friends.

Meanwhile, Jackson and Kruger were recently spotted together just weeks after announcing their split. The ex-couple, who were together for 10 years before their breakup, were seen exiting a liquor store in West Hollywood, Los Angeles on Monday, Aug. 15.

In the video obtained by Daily Mail UK, the two actors appear to be comfortable around each other, proving the statement they released in July that they would "remain good friends."

Wilson is not the first actress Jackson has been linked to since his split with Kruger. A Life & Style magazine report earlier this month claimed that he was planning to get back together with ex-girlfriend Holmes 18 years after their breakup.

“Everyone’s hoping they rekindle their romance. All her friends have been nudging Katie to consider giving their relationship another chance. They all love him, and Katie and Josh realize what they had is rare and very special,” an insider claimed to the magazine, which added that the ex-lovers' "friends are convinced they’re more than just old buddies.”

Gossip Cop quickly debunked the dating rumors, saying that Holmes' rep told Life & Style that there "was no truth to it" and that the exes "have not spoken" in a long time.
