TV host and journalist Lisa Ling enjoyed her time on Meghan Markle's podcast and is letting people know how talented the Duchess of Sussex is.

"So enjoyed talking to Meghan Markle for her podcast #Archetypes. She is such a bright and compelling conversationalist and I hope people take the time to get to know her beyond the often insidious headlines. @spotifypodcasts," Ling wrote after sharing a black-and-white photo of her and her daughter, 9-year-old Jett, with Markle on Wednesday.

Her Instagram post garnered nearly 14,000 likes from supporters. Canadian actress Olivia Cheng commented, "legend" and added a red heart, while, "The Key" author Caitlin Crosby added four hearts in the comments box.

"Beautiful Country" author Qian Julie Wang also had some nice words to say about the interview and wrote, "loved this episode and everything you had to say. and to your daughter: weird girls unite!"

Meanwhile, "Limitless" author and YouTuber Jim Kwik was intrigued by the episode and wrote, "Looking forward to listening."

A fan called the episode "The Demystification of Dragon Lady" and wrote, "really enjoyed this conversation and hearing your perspectives and that of Margaret Cho. It's so needed and very timely. Thank you for using your voice and taking up space because it benefits all women."

In the podcast, Ling revealed that the lack of Asian representation on TV inspired her to pursue journalism.

"To be honest with you, the reason why I pursued broadcast journalism at all was because growing up, it's the only path that I thought was available to me. I was someone who grew up in a broken home," the CNN host said. "My parents were divorced when I was 7, and the television was always on in my home. It was like my favorite babysitter. And I used to have these fantasies of being part of it somehow because I thought, if I can get on TV, maybe I will have a better life one day. But no one looked remotely like me on TV except for Connie Chung."

Tuesday's episode marks the return of Markle's "Archetypes Podcast," which was on a short hiatus following the death of Queen Elizabeth II last month.
