J.R. Martinez And Girlfriend Welcome Baby Girl, Lauryn Anabelle

J.R. Martinez has finally welcomed a baby girl.

On the evening of Wednesday, May 2, the Dancing With The Stars champion became a first-time father when he and his girlfriend Diana Gonzalez-Jones welcomed a daughter.

Lauryn Anabelle Martinez, was born in Los Angeles and weighed in at 7 lbs., 13 oz., according to People Magazine.

It's just amazing to see her finally, Martinez, a 28-year-old Iraq war veteran, told People magazine. She's beautiful. She has a couple of cute little freckles on her cheeks, a full head of hair and the cutest little lips . . . She's already got a nickname - Belle, Martinez adds

Martinez met Gonzalez-Jones In 2008 when he was cast in ABC's daytime drama, All My Children in the role of Brot Monroe. His character also served in the U.S. Army in Iraq and was injured in combat.

He took home the coveted mirror-ball trophy on the 13^th season of the hit ABC show, DWTS in November 2011.

It was back in December that Martinez announced to the world that he was going to be a father.

I can't wait to show her everything, Martinez told People about his unborn daughter in December. I want to get her into sports and I want her to know she can do anything and be anything she wants to be.
