J.R. Martinez of Dancing With the Stars fame claimed the coveted mirror ball trophy. Now Martinez and his girlfriend, Diana Gonzalez-Jones, are expecting a baby, according to a report.

People' reports that Martinez, the former Army soldier turned actor and motivational speaker who won season 13's Dancing with the Stars, is expecting his first child with Gonzalez-Jones in the spring.

We found out just last week it's a girl and we are over the moon, Martinez told People. Diana has a little baby bump now and it's the cutest thing ever. With the holidays coming up, this is the biggest and best gift we could get.

Martinez met Gonzalez-Jones when he was working on the set of the soap All My Children in an acting role. It was 2008. She was an assistant to the soap opera's executive producers. They became friends first. Then, it turned to romance. Now, it has resulted in a forthcoming baby, the first for both.

We were so good as friends that romantically, we just clicked right away. There was no adjustment period, Gonzalez-Jones said.

Martinez said 2011 has been a busy year full of opportunity, but that now 2012 holds the biggest blessing of all.
