JR Smith Busted for Riding Scooter Without License
J.R. Smith, the Denver Nuggets shooting guard, was pulled over by the police in South Beach for riding a scooter without a license.
Smith license was suspended through March 2012 back in 2009 for a reckless driving accident that killed his friend.
His license has been suspended at least five times in the past.
Smith wasn't arrested but he signed a notice to show up in court at a later date.
There is no word on what happened to the scooter.
Smith has averaged 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds with 2.2 assists per game in 2010-2011 season. Denver Nuggets were eliminated by the Oklahoma Thunders in the first round of Western Conference playoffs.
