After 25 seasons, "Judge Judy" is coming to an end, but that doesn't mean it is the end of television appearances for Judy Sheindlin.

According to Variety, the popular television personality is expected to announce on Monday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she will be stepping away from her syndicated court show. However, Sheindlin will reportedly begin appearing on a new show called "Judy Justice" following her exit from her long-running court show, which premiered in 1996.

While speaking to host Ellen DeGeneres, the TV judge revealed information regarding her decision to leave the successful series.

After sharing that she felt as though CBS wanted to "sell a couple of years’ worth of reruns," she then elaborated on what's to come both before and after her Emmy Award-winning show officially ends.

"I’m not tired. So ‘Judy Justice’ will be coming out a year later… ‘Judge Judy’ you’ll be able to see next year, full year, all new shows. The following couple of years, you should be able to catch all the reruns that are currently carrying Judy, and ‘Judy Justice’ will be going elsewhere," she stated. She then asked, "Isn't that fun?"

The announcement follows Sheindlin's January endorsement of a presidential candidate prior to the U.S. 2020 election. After stating that she felt "times have changed in our country," she said she believed the moment had come for her to "step out from behind the curtain" and share her unexpected political endorsement.

As of now, details remain scarce regarding the new television program, so fans will have to wait and see if she continues to keep the same format as "Judge Judy" and what station it will eventually air on. However, Sheindlin also created the popular reality series "Hot Bench," which may serve as an indication of her new direction moving forward.
