‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Chapter 166 Preview, Spoilers: How Will Itadori Fight Confiscation And Death Penalty?

Yuji Itadori is sentenced to death after he pleads guilty to committing mass murder in Shibuya on Oct. 31, 2018. The leaks and spoilers of "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 166 are expected to arrive Wednesday, but the preview of the chapter is out.

A Twitter user named Ducky has shared a brief preview of "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 166.

“Announcement of capital punishment! The Death Penalty placed upon Itadori! What will the conclusion be?!” read the preview of Chapter 166.

It will be interesting to see if Itadori has deliberately called for a retrial and admitted to the mass murder. However, Judgeman has still ordered Confiscation that would mean Itadori would still be unable to use his cursed energy against Hiromi Higuruma.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 165 Recap

The chapter opened with Higuruma’s origin story. He easily cleared the entrance exam for the law department at T University and the Old National Bar Exam.

He found it easy to crack such exams because he applied the necessary efforts to get the much-needed knowledge. However, what stood out about Higuruma was his sorcery skills.

He analyzed the cursed technique that was part of his Domain Expansion and learned the foundation of barrier techniques. Later, he reverse-engineered the barrier techniques to learn more about reinforcement techniques.

Impressively, he reached the level of a Grade 1 sorcerer within 12 days of awakening to his cursed technique. Higuruma asked Itadori if he wasn’t able to use his cursed energy. Interestingly, the penalty of Confiscation makes it impossible for the opponent to use any cursed techniques.

However, Higuruma suspected Itadori doesn’t have any cursed technique, so the effect likely has switched to stop the use of cursed energy.

Higuruma was shocked to see Itadori still putting up a fight without any cursed energy. At that moment, Higuruma vowed to crush him with all his might.

He used his gavel and relentlessly attacked Itadori who could feel getting cornered. Itadori was wondering for how long can he defend the attacks.
