‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Chapter 178 Spoilers, Preview: Summoning Rika

Takako Uro has decided to toy with Yuta Okkutsu while Ryu Ishigori continues to battle against the latter. Yuta knows he can’t tackle these players alone.

In "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 178, Yuta has no choice but to summon Rika as he asks her to give her everything she got.

The chapter, titled "Sendai Colony, Part 4," opened with Yuta and Ryu facing each other. For some reason, Ryu compared his battles to food. He wanted to go all out against Yuta.

Ryu revealed that in his first life, he was a moderate eater. He fought noted opponents and met a good woman. He added that he doesn’t have any regrets.

However, he had that unquenchable thirst and wondered why he can’t get no satisfaction. Meanwhile, Yuta was ready because he knew Ryu would be coming with a fierce attack.

And he did, Yuta noted his output was high and he was releasing cursed energy with great intensity. His movements were tremendously quick and precise and Yuta needed to guard well even if that would mean taking damage.

Ryu hit his opponent with all his might and constantly questioned why he was still unsatisfied. Then, he launched a massive attack and Yuta went flying away due to the impact.

Ryu announced that he was unsatisfied because he wasn’t full yet. He did not give Yuta any time to recover and almost instantly unleashed the Granite Blast. But Yuta managed to deflect it with his bare hands.

After deflecting, Yuta countered his opponent and pushed him to the ground. He followed it with a powerful punch across Ryu’s face.

Ryu bounced back and countered with another attack. Suddenly, Takako Uro appeared and surprised Yuta. She revealed she does not hit a person and, instead, hit the surface of the sky, breaking it like thin ice along with her opponent.

She launched her Thin Ice Breaker attack and Ryu got furious because she was in his way.
