‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Episode 14 Spoilers: Second Cour Release Date And New Arc Details

After the climactic battle featuring Yuji Itadori, Nanami, and Mahito, the anime series is set to welcome the Kyoto Goodwill arc.

The upcoming episode is called "Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event – Group Battle 0." Itadori is eager to reunite with his gang as Jujutsu Tech head to Kyoto for the upcoming inter-school jujutsu event.

A brief teaser for "Jujutsu Kaisen" Episode 14 shows the various characters at the venue in Kyoto. The official "Jujutsu Kaisen" Twitter handle shared the look of the new characters.

The new cast members joining the Kyoto Goodwill arc are Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Mechamaru Ultimate, Rie Kugimiya as Momo Nishimiya, Satoshi Hino as Noritoshi Kamo and Yōko Hikasa as Utahime Iori.

In the last episode of "Jujutsu Kaisen," Itadori and Nanami are in the last leg of their fight against Mahito. Nanami notes that they need to create openings and attack Mahito. He adds they also need to exorcise the opponent.

Mahito retaliates by creating an eye on his right palm. The enemy also transforms his left arm into a blade. The battle starts, and Mahito shapeshifts into a giant ball of spikes.

However, Itadori and Nanami easily dodge the spikes and even start dismembering them. Mahito realizes that they are way too powerful for such an attack.

The enemy transforms himself into a child and runs away. Nanami and Itadori learn Mahito’s cursed energy is stored just before transforming.

Fearing his death, Mahito returns to his normal form and launches tiny transfigured humans at Itadori. As Itadori battles the transfigured humans, Mahito goes after Nanami.

He knows Itadori cannot kill humans and will get enough time to deal with Nanami. However, Itadori appears and saves Nanami before Mahito lands a deadly blow.

During the episode, Mahito activates his Domain Expansion to capture Nanami. Initially, Itadori fails to crack open the Domain Expansion but toward the end, he manages to enter and critically wound Mahito.

However, it is Sukuna who beats Mahito. Later, the villain manages to shapeshift and escape through the sewer. The episode concludes with Itadori’s renewed resolve to fight the curses.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" will remain on a break due to holidays and Episode 14 will air Friday, on Jan. 15, 2020.
