Julio Jones might have taken his last snap with the Atlanta Falcons. The wide receiver has been in trade rumors since before the draft, and a list of potential suitors have emerged.

Atlanta wants to trade Jones, according to The Athletic’s Jeff Schultz. Theoretically, most NFL teams would like to have Jones on their roster, but finding an actual trade partner might not be so easy.

The Baltimore Ravens have been pegged as the favorites to acquire Jones, in the event that he’s moved. BetOnline gives Baltimore 11/4 odds to be Jones’ next team if he’s traded.

The San Francisco 49ers are a close second with 3/1 odds to trade for Jones. The New England Patriots are viewed as the third most likely candidate with 9/2 odds at the online sportsbook.

The Los Angeles Chargers (6/1), Tennessee Titans (6/1) and Indianapolis Colts (7/1) are given a realistic chance to get Jones, as well.

Schultz named the Ravens, 49ers, Patriots, Colts and Chargers as candidates to trade for Jones because they have the ability to absorb Jones’ $15.3 million base salary into their cap space. A source told The Athletic that the Titans might have interest in Jones, despite potential cap hurdles.

A healthy Jones would be a key addition for all of those teams as they try to become Super Bowl contenders. Tennessee, Baltimore and Indianapolis were all defeated in last year’s playoffs before the AFC Championship Game. San Francisco, Los Angeles and New England are projected to be postseason contenders.

Jones is as productive as any receiver when he’s on the field. Jones owns the NFL record with 95.5 yards per game. The veteran recorded at least 1,394 yards in every season from 2014-2019.

Limited to nine games in 2020, Jones had 51 catches for 771 yards and three touchdowns. Jones is 32 years old and entering his 11th career season.

Jones has spent his entire career with the Falcons.

The Falcons have missed the playoffs in three straight seasons. Atlanta hired new general manager Terry Fontenot and head coach Arthur Smith in January.
