A few hours away from the spectacular fireworks of July 4th in Washington, D.C., are you still looking for a spot to watch the show? Here are some tips for the last-minute viewers.

As the finale of an all-day celebration in the nation's capital, the fireworks will light up the sky over the Washington Monument.

The national Mall fireworks will begin at around 9:10 p.m., and will be launched from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool for around 20 minutes.

According to About.com and Yelp.com, the best places to view the National Mall fireworks are:

- Jefferson Memorial

- FDR Memorial

- Marine Corps War Memorial

- East Potomac Park

East Potomac Park is another nice spot to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. Although the park doesn't provide as great a view of the fireworks/National Mall as does Lady Bird Johnson Park, the area provides nice spots to fire up the grill and kick back. - Andrew L. (yelp.com)
