July Fourth 2016 TV Schedule: Where To Watch Over 25 Independence Day Marathons
Independence Day celebrates freedom, and that includes your freedom to spend the day in front of the TV. If you’re planning to spend your entire day off on the couch or just looking for something to keep you busy until the fireworks start, there are plenty of viewing options on July 4. There are over 25 marathons of TV shows and movies happening, so it’s just a matter of finding the one that fits your interests.
Check out the schedule of July 4 marathons (Note: All times are EDT.):
6 a.m.
- “Godzilla” movies will be shown all day on El Rey Network. Their “Kaijuly Roarth” marathon actually has been on going nonstop since Friday afternoon.
- Western movies will be marathoned on HDNet all day, starting with “The Life And Times Of Judge Roy Bean.”
- “The Three Stooges” will air on IFC until 6 p.m.
- “The Twilight Zone” will air on Syfy all day.
7 a.m.
- “American Ninja Warrior” will air on Esquire until 8 p.m.
- Marvel superhero films will air on FX all day. Films starring the X-Men, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Captain America are included.
- “NCIS” will air on USA until 8 p.m.
8 a.m.
- A “Red, White and Rock” marathon will be on AXS TV all day, starting with a John Fogerty special.
- “Grey’s Anatomy” will air on Lifetime until 2 p.m.
- “Homeland” will air on Showtime until 8 p.m.
9 a.m.
- “Criminal Minds” will air on Ion for the rest of the day.
- “Jail” and “Cops” will alternate throughout the day on Spike.
- “Blue Bloods” will air on WGN America until 7 p.m.
- “How It’s Made” will air on Science until 10 p.m.
10 a.m.
- “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” will air on WE until 4 p.m.
11 a.m.
- “Real Housewives” of both New Jersey and Orange County will air on Bravo until 4 p.m.
- “Baywatch” will air on Oxygen until 4 p.m.
11:30 a.m.
- “Sisterhood of Hip-Hop” will air on Oxygen until 7:30 p.m.
12 p.m.
- “Reba” will air on CMT until 4 p.m.
- “Lakefront Bargain Hunt” will air on HGTV until 8 p.m.
- “Untold Stories of the E.R.” will air on TLC for the rest of the day.
- “Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta” will air on VH1 until 10 p.m.
1 p.m.
- “Jaws” and “Jaws 2” will air on AMC for the rest of the day.
2:30 p.m.
- “Veep” will air on HBO2 until 7:30 p.m.
3 p.m.
- “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” will air on E! until 11 p.m.
4 p.m.
- “CSI: Miami” will air on WE for the rest of the night.
5 p.m.
- “Back to the Future,” “Back to the Future Part II” and “Back to the Future Part III” will air on Discovery Family Channel.
6 p.m.
- “That 70s Show” will air on IFC for the rest of the night.
- “The First 48” will air on A&E for the rest of the night.
