'Jurassic World': New Video Shows Chris Pratt Riding Motorcycle, Entering Dinosaur Paddock
Universal Pictures has released a behind-the-scenes video from the “Jurassic World” movie, which will be released June 12 in the U.S. The video shows Chris Pratt filming two scenes in the movie, one of which was shot in the Velociraptors' paddock. [Spoiler Alert!]
The first scene shows Pratt riding a Triumph motorcycle at night with soldiers from a fictitious company called InGen. The actor plays the role of dinosaur trainer Owen Grady. Fans may have also seen the actor riding the motorcycle alongside Velociraptors in trailers for the movie.
The actor appears to be his humorous self on the set and can be seen making jokes about the mud on his clothes. Pratt explained that he has never used a motorcycle in his personal life and pointed out that none of the tabloids have a picture of him riding one. Toward the end of the video, however, he asks Triumph to let him keep the motorcycle.
The second scene is from the Velociraptors' paddock. Pratt explains how important it is to warm up before a scene and begins to dance, while some of the crew members laugh. At least one of the crew members attempted to follow the actor’s dance moves but stopped quickly when the camera was turned on him.
The scene being filmed at the beginning of the video is the one where Owen rescues a new recruit from being eaten by the Velociraptors in the paddock. Fans may remember seeing Owen saying “eyes on me” to the dinosaurs in the trailers of the movie.
The video also shows some of the other stunts that Pratt performed in the movie. One of the stunts involves the actor being pushed to the ground due to the impact of an explosion. Fellow cast member Bryce Dallas Howard can be seen smiling at Pratt as he jokes about a stunt he is about to perform. There is also the scene where the actor runs from the Indominus Rex, a scene which also appeared in the trailers of “Jurassic World.”
