‘Justice League’ Star Ben Affleck Celebrates 45th Birthday With Three Kids

Ben Affleck remains a doting dad to his three children despite his split with Jennifer Garner.

On Tuesday, Affleck turned 45, and the “Justice League” star opted to celebrate his natal day having dinner with his three children, Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5. Affleck was spotted sporting blue jeans, a light gray T-shirt and blazer, and sneakers at Barton G. The Restaurant in Los Angeles. He arrived solo. Later on, his three kids arrived with their presents for their dad, Entertainment Tonight reported.

The publication noted that Garner was also seen at the Brentwood Country Mart with a white package that was presumably a birthday cake. The mother-of-three sported a white blouse, blue jeans and tan heels during her outing.

“They had a great week together as a family,” a family friend told People. “The kids were thrilled to be out with their dad. Ben was excited to take them out today.”

Affleck’s new girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus, was noticeably absent. However, the publication noted that earlier this month, the couple had a meal at Osteria Mozza after hitting up a comedy show. An eyewitness told ET that “Ben was hugging Lindsay from the back as they turned in their tickets.” The pair was reportedly in “good mood” and were “enjoying a casual date night.”

Affleck and Shookus started dating in July. However, there were rumors that the two have been flirting with each other while they were still married to their ex-spouses. There is speculation that they have been dating secretly since Affleck’s stint on “Saturday Night Live.”

“Whenever [Affleck] was on Fallon, he would go visit [Shookus] at ‘SNL,’” a source with knowledge of their alleged affair told People. “They were both married at the time, but there was definitely a flirtation.”

“Both of them were married at the time. They were having secret rendezvous every time he came into New York City and other places, too,” another source told ET. “Both of them were cheating on their spouses so they were very careful about it.”

Regardless of how Affleck and Shookus’ romance started, the “Batman” star is already divorcing his estranged wife. Affleck, however, is working hard with Garner to co-parent with their kids. His choice to celebrate his birthday with their children is proof of this.
