Justin Bieber and Rihanna To Perform At Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Rihanna and Justin Bieber may not have much in common musically, but both are scheduled to hit the catwalk at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
In three staggered announcements on their Facebook page on Tuesday, Victoria’s Secret announced that their musical performers for the event would include RiRi, the Biebz and Bruno Mars.
Both performers have been hard at work: Rihanna released her most recent single “Diamonds,” off of her coming album last week. The song is already No. 1 in 26 countries, reported the Huffington Post.
The Barbadian songstress also performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Sept. 21, where she performed hits from all her albums to date.
Justin Bieber has also been busy, and recently kicked off his current “Believe” tour at the Jobing Arena in Glendale, Ariz. But despite selling out the massive, 18,000-seat venue, Bieber startled many of his fans when he stepped off-stage twice to throw up, reported the Hollywood Reporter.
The 18-year-old pop sensation allegedly apologized the first time he left his in into the lurch and returned back to the stage, saying, “I’m sorry, I’m going to slow things down.” But after regaining momentum, the singer had to take another break and completely stopped his show for several minutes.
When he returned to the stage once more, he joked about the incident. “It's hard for me, you know, not feeling great and throwing up in front of a bunch of people," said Bieber, before continuing. "Will you love me even though I'm throwing up on stage? OK, I wanted to give you my best show ever, so do you mind if I finish it?"
Bieber later blamed his illness on drinking too much milk before his performance. In a message to his fans from Instagram, he posted a picture of himself lying in bed, with the caption, “Great show. Getting better for tomorrow’s show !!!! Love u.” He later added, in a tweet, “Milk was a bad choice!”
The performance will be aired on CBS on Dec. 4 at 10 p.m. EST.
