Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Remain Tight, Stole Show at MTV EMA [PHOTOS&VIDEO]
The young superstar couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez seem to be walking through the flames of rumors just fine - as the duo dazzled MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) and spent time catching up with each other backstage.
Joined by David Hasselhoff, the teen couple met up before a special MTV Voices dinner, according to Daily Mail, and arrived hand in hand at the dinner.
At the Belfast event, Bieber took home Best Male and Best Pop Act awards as he performed Mistletoe and Never Say Never.
MTV also honored Justin Bieber with the first-ever MTV Voices Award for his charity efforts in launching the Believe Charity Drive and working with the Make A Wish Foundation and the Pencils With Promise initiative.
As for Selena Gomez who hosted the MTV EMA, she stole the show with a sequence of sparkling dresses, and special effects, and the star had a great time impressing the audience.
Thank you to MTV for having me host the EMA this year. Thank you to all that followed me throughout this weekend. Thank you to everyone who tuned in to this year's MTV EMA I had such an amazing time!!! I love you all, Gomez commented on Facebook following the show.
The 19-year-old Disney star walked through the fire in a stunning gown with leather bodice as she performed on stage, while her 17-year-old beau sat back to watch her host the show amidst the embarrassing rumors.
Great job tonight @selenagomez tonight at the EMA's. proud of u, Gomez's 8-month boyfriend tweeted after the event.
Gomez is not breaking up with Bieber, according to what Gomez's reps told US Weekly, though rumors circulated that the power couple is splitting up in the wake of the scandal.
While Justin Bieber's paternity lawsuit has stirred a wave of angry Beliebers and created a huge buzz across the globe, the Baby singer made no reference to the rumors regarding Mariah Yeater's baby mama claim.
Honored for his charity efforts, the teen pop star has set a model before his fans in many aspects, and, this time around, expectations mount as Bieber holds fast to his innocence in the alleged sexual intercourse with Yeater, a 20-year-old California woman who claimed Bieber fathered her 3-month-old son.
The popstar's millions of fans were enraged by Yeater's wild claim and were steadfast in their faith in the Christian singer.
Bieber agreed to take a paternity test in two weeks to prove his innocence, according to TMZ's source. He has never met the woman, Bieber said during an interview on Today show Friday.
I know I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim, said the Biebs amidst fans' screams. It's crazy, because every night after the show I've gone right from the stage right to my car. So it's crazy that some people want to make up such false allegations.
The power couple dubbed Jelena, as they survive the furnace that seems to only flare up their love, may be paving their way to be a genuine Brangelina successor.
