Justin Bieber to appear on 'Glee', but there's a catch
This was just waiting to happen - Justin Bieber on Glee. But wait, there is a catch! Justin Bieber is apparently insisting that he will appear on the show only if the producers agree to include Cheryl Cole.
The 16-year-old singer, who is lined up to appear in a future episode of the Fox drama, told The Sun that he is holding out until Cole is offered a part too. His contends that the show is all about good-looking people who can sing and dance and Cheryl Cole perfectly fits the criteria.
Bieber said, Cheryl and the show make total sense. It's all about people who look good and can sing and dance - that's totally Cheryl.
She looks beautiful, but I am not sure she could quite get away with playing a student. It would be great if she played a substitute teacher taking a sabbatical from England or something. Can you imagine how hot Cheryl would look dressed as a school teacher?
Coming to the more obvious reason for having her on the show, it would be a perfect vehicle to introduce her to the U.S. audiences.
Cole is looking for a spot on the U.S. X-Factor judges’ panel but her mentor Simon Cowell has not been able to persuade the producers yet.
I have told her every time I have seen her that as soon as she lands in the US for The X Factor I am going to work with her, Bieber said. Glee is a great way to introduce her to the States - everybody is watching it.
Another person high on the list of appearances lined up for Glee is obviously the teen popstar, Miley Cyrus.
