Justin Bieber breaks up with Twitter

While his relationship with Selena Gomez may be going strong, pop sensation Justin Bieber has decided to put an end to another one.

On Wednesday, as reported by PopEater, Bieber tweeted that he has decided to permanently log off Twitter.

I'm just excited at this pt to get on stage and perform. Gonna take a little break from twitter and enjoy this time with my family until then, he wrote.

Bieber also proved that it is difficult to cut out Twitter cold turkey. He added a few additional tweets such as patience is a virtue.

This news comes right after Bieber's recent trip to Israel and the frustration he faced over the paparazzi following him around the Holy Land.

The Canadian pop star is one of the most followed celebrities on Twitter with approximately 8.8 million followers. Lady Gaga holds the number one spot with approximately 9.3 million followers
