Justin Bieber Returns To Stage After Ramsay Hunt Syndrome Diagnosis [Watch]
Justin Bieber returned to stage at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy after he put a hold on his tour, "Justice World Tour," in June. The tour was postponed after the singer was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
The singer posted a video from his stage performance Monday and shared how good it feels to be back.
"Guys I want to say thank you so much for having me back," the singer can be heard saying in the video. "This is my first day back. It's so good to be here."
Bieber walked on the stage shirtless and donned sky-blue pants. He went on to explain the vision of his world tour and said, "As some of you guys know, the 'Justice Tour' is about equality. It's about justice for all."
"No matter what you look like, no matter your shape, your size, your ethnicity. We're all the same, we're all one," he continued.
The singer wants his fans to be the "difference makers" against racism and division.
"I want to say thank you to each and every one of you guys for being a part of this tour tonight," he concluded. "Justice 4 all WE ARE ALL EQUAL," Bieber captioned the post.
The singer's wife, Hailey Baldwin Bieber, also shared a video from the concert on her Instagram Story feed and wrote, "One thing I know for certain is you can't keep this guy down…" with heart and crying emoji.
The singer got married to Hailey in 2018. A fan shared a screenshot of Hailey's Instagram Story on Twitter.
Bieber announced in June that he will be taking a break from his ongoing world tour after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome. It left the singer's face partially paralyzed.
The official Instagram handle of the tour issued a statement on June 17 revealing that all the shows scheduled for June and early July will be postponed. "Justice World Tour," which began on Feb. 18, was initially scheduled to continue till March next year.
Bieber shared a video of himself on June 11, revealing that one of his eyes doesn't blink and he can't smile from one side of his face.
