Justin Bieber Says He's Ready To Have Kids But Wife Hailey Baldwin Isn't

Justin Bieber is eager to have children with wife Hailey Baldwin, but the singer has made it clear that the decision is up to the 24-year-old model.

Bieber appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Tuesday where he talked about his relationship with Baldwin, including their future plans. During his chat with host Ellen DeGeneres, they discussed the number of kids he wants to have and when they would start expanding their family.

"I'm going to have as many as Hailey is willing to push out. I'd love to have myself a little tribe," Bieber said.

But Bieber clarified that the number of children they will have ultimately depends on his wife, adding, "It's her body and whatever she wants to do. I think she wants to have a few."

When DeGeneres asked what the "hold up" is for the couple, Bieber said that his wife still wants to accomplish some things as a woman before getting pregnant.

"There's not really an issue, but I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman. And I think she just is not ready yet, and I think that's OK," he explained.

In 2019, the couple opened up about sex and addressed speculations that they married speedily because Baldwin was pregnant during their joint interview with Vogue. At the time, the model said there would be no babies for at least a couple of years.

Although Baldwin is not in a rush to have children, she also made it clear that she does want to have kids in the future. She said she has embraced the fact that having her own little ones may happen soon now that she's married.

“I love kids and I can’t wait to have my own," she said. "I would say now that’s a closer reality."

In October, Bieber shared a photo of him carrying his niece, Iris, on Instagram. In the picture, the "Yummy" crooner went topless and wore a cap and black face mask while holding the baby in his arms.

Commenting on the snap, Dwayne Johnson predicted that Bieber and Baldwin will have their own child by next year. "This image pretty much seals the deal," The Rock commented. "Fully expect you and H to have a baby in 2021."
