Justin Bieber startled after NYC attack, caught on video

Justin Bieber was attacked today while in New York City promoting his fragrance. The pop star was reportedly outside of Macy's when a man jumped at Bieber, knocking him to the ground. Those at the scene say that Bieber was, naturally, startled and shaken up. The pop star was not injured.

MSNBC reports that the Never Say Never singer was at Macy's to promote Someday and decided to greet fans outside of the store. It was then that the man jumped a barricade and attacked the teen sensation.

It has been reported that the police have taken into custody the man who attacked Bieber. After the incident, Bieber went back into the store.

Recently Bieber has been in the news for his latest video, Next 2 You, a collaboration with Chris Brown. The duo takes to the streets in their flyist street wear as they dance and sing their way through the gloom of doomsday.

The apocalyptic-esque film by director Colin Tilley is filmed like a mini feature film, and even has quality acting in the beginning between Bieber and his girlfriend. The video also features 'American Pie' actress Shannon Elizabeth.

Not only does the video have quality directing and a recognizable actress, but it showcases both Brown's and Bieber's talents, be it singing or dancing.

The track is the third single from Brown's 'F.A.M.E.' album.

Someday

Justin Bieber launched Someday, his new perfume, last month with a video.

The commercial opens with the sound of a music box, and a young teenage blonde. With just one spray of Someday, the girl is whisked away into Bieber-land, where she and Justin hold hands, hug, and cuddle while floating in the sky.

The 32 second clip which hit the internet yesterday has received mixed reviews. The Youtube video has received 2,563 hits thus farwhich can be expected to increase in the following days. 61 people said they liked it, and 59 gave the commercial a thumbs down.

As Justin and his blonde return to planet Earth, one notable feature is his purple high-top sneakers.

The short commercial ends with a sweet peck on the girl's neck and fist-pumping music.

Proceeds from the perfume will go to charity.
