Justin Bieber Surprises Selena Gomez For 21st Birthday Party: Did She Cry When They Reunited?

Although Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are no longer dating, Bieber made sure to help her celebrate her 21st birthday over the weekend. Gomez had a gypsy-themed bash at Malibu's Revolve Beach House, and invited celebrity friends such as Julianne Hough, Nina Dobrev, and Jaden Smith. Though her birthday was on July 22, the young star is continuing to celebrate the big day in style.

"Justin arrived at the party in his leopard-print Audi R8. He was casually dressed and carried a single rose,” a source tells People. He flew into town specifically to celebrate with Gomez, as he is currently on tour. He was in Toronto just a day earlier, and had to be in Detroit the night after the party.

Though Bieber was not dressed up, the 19-year-old wore black jeans, a black shirt, and a green jacket and carried a birthday present for his former flame. It may have been a surprise visit, as Gomez reportedly cried when she saw him.

Even though she may have been overcome with emotion, "everybody danced and had a blast, especially Selena, who was surrounded by her friends," an insider tells Us Weekly.

Though there has been speculation that she is back with Bieber, after they were seen together in recent months, the singer told the Associated Press that blogs and celebrity websites tend to play up her relationship with the 19-year-old. “I do think they want to have something to talk about, so that's the easy thing to do,” she said. “I've known him for a really long time and we enjoy each other's company every now and then. But I'm definitely single and enjoying being that.”
