Actress and teenage singer Justin Bieber's girl friend Selena Gomez was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles after she complained of nausea and headache on Thursday.

Last night after Selena’s appearance on The Tonight Show she wasn’t feeling well and was taken to the hospital. She is currently undergoing routine tests, said her spokesperson.

The Texas-born star, 18, has accompanied her boy friend Bieber recently to the NBA finals and had been on a romantic trip together with him to Hawaii.

Selena reportedly told a TV show just before her illness that her boyfriend had passed her mom’s test and that her mother had given the thumbs up.

She has been with him at the Billboard Awards and reportedly went with him to Canada to meet his family.

Her upcoming film Monte Carlo, an upcoming romantic adventure starring besides her, Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester, will hit screens on July 1.
