Justin Hartley, Sofia Pernas Spotted Enjoying Romantic Lunch In NYC After Secret Wedding

Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas had a great time when they stepped out for lunch in the Big Apple this week following the reports that they recently tied the knot in secret.

The couple was spotted Monday at Central Park hot spot Tavern on the Green. The 44-year-old actor and the 31-year-old actress had a romantic lunch date at the food establishment as newlyweds, Page Six reported Thursday.

An insider told the entertainment news outlet that Hartley and Pernas “cozied up together” to celebrate their nuptials. They had New York strip steak, a rack of lamb and Old Fashioned cocktails for their mini celebration.

Another eyewitness disclosed that the “This Is Us” actor and the “Blood & Treasure” star pulled their chairs to the corners just so they could stay close to each other.

The news comes days after multiple outlets reported that they secretly married in Malibu. One source confirmed to People that the “Young and Restless” co-stars exchanged “I dos” in secret “recently.” However, the source refused to divulge more details.

When they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards over the weekend, they turned heads as they were seen sporting matching bands on their wedding ring fingers. Pernas had a diamond ring while Hartley had a gold band, as per E! News.

Prior to which, they also made headlines and fueled wedding rumors when they were photographed having a blast during a beach outing in Malibu earlier this month. At the time, Hartley sported a red band on his ring finger while Pernas had a silver ring.

Amid the reports, a source close to Hartley’s ex-wife, Chrishell Stause, told E! News that she was not “entirely surprised by Justin getting married so quickly” four months after their divorce was finalized.

“It's not shocking to her. Chrishell knows Justin falls fast and moves quickly. She wishes them well and has moved on from that part of her life. She's finally been able to heal her heartbreak and it's taken a while for her to be in a good place,” the source added.

While this is the first marriage for Pernas, this is already Hartley’s third. Before marrying Stause in 2017, he was married to his first ex-wife, Lindsay Hartley, from 2004 to 2012. They even have one daughter together named Isabella, who is already 16.
