Justin Timberlake's injury halts 'Now'
Justin Timberlake’s injury has brought production on the sets of Andrew Niccol's sci-fi thriller, Now, to a temporary halt.
A rep for the studio said in a statement, Justin Timberlake sustained a muscle injury to his calf on the set of Andrew Niccol's thriller 'Now'. Production has taken a brief hiatus and will resume shortly.
Justin was seen on crutches last week but reports of anything serious were dismissed. According to E! Online, he sustained a calf injury while performing a stunt on the sets of Andrew Niccol’s thriller.
An insider revealed to the website, [Timberlake] hasn't heard anything about the MRI results, but they're freezing production until he's off crutches and able to act again.
Reports suggest that production will be shut down for at least two weeks.
Justin’s foray into acting seems to be on the right track. While his latest release, The Social Network is doing well at the box office, the 'Sexy Back' singer is currently promoting his other film, Yogi Bear, in which he lends voice to the character Boo Boo. He recently wrapped filming for Friends with Benefits, alongside Black Swan’s Mila Kunis. Now is set for release in September 2011 .
