The roster of FC Barcelona is looking to get deeper with speculation involving Juventus star forward Paulo Dybala. The Argentine is said to be interested in playing at Camp Nou alongside his fellow countryman Lionel Messi.

Per Everything Barca, the 26-year-old has shared how nice it would be to suit up next to Messi as teammates. The two have had experience together on the pitch as members of the Argentine national team.

With the experience of sharing time on the field, the two have already gained some chemistry on how they approach the game.

Aside from this, having someone with the caliber of Dybala for Barcelona will be a big boost for the squad. The former four-time Italian Champion has an all-around game that can benefit any team.

Whether it’s his agile movement on the field or his excellent dribbling, Dybala has proven time and time again that he is an asset for any organization.

If Barcelona is able to land Dybala then they will have another player who can pass and cross at an elite level. The cerebral approach he brings to the field serves as an advantage especially if he’s sharing the field with Messi.

Throughout his duration with Juventus, Dybala has been truly sensational. In 219 appearances he was able to score on 91 separate occasions. To add to these, he’s displayed his excellent ball control and vision with 36 assisted goals.

While the estimated market value of Dybala set at 80 million Euros, Barcelona may consider shipping some players such as Philippe Coutinho or Ousmane Dembele to lighten the financial load.

It has been a tumultuous few months for Dybala as he tested positive for COVID-19 back in March. As he’s slowly reaching full recovery, he’s looking forward to bouncing back and taking control again of the games.
