The official synopsis for episode 8 of “Kaguya-sama: Love is War?” Season 2 hints a possible power tussle between Miko and Shirogane.

After losing the student council election, Shirogane offered Miko a position in the new student council. Miko has accepted the position, and she handles the financial audit of the council.

However, for some reason, there is tension mounting as the room is filled with negative energy.

According to the synopsis, Miko follows the rules to the letter, and she isn’t allowing Shirogane and Kaguya to do their business.

Elsewhere, Ishigami ignores the school rules while playing a game. Miko might get angry at him for not following the rules.

Later, Chika Fujiwara tries to convince Ishigami to be kind to others.

In the previous episode, Kaguya attempts to find out Shirogane’s underwear of choice. This happens after Ishigami shares his biased opinion about men wearing boxers. Kaguya is worried that Shirogane might fall into Ishigami’s category.

Kaguya starts to question him, but her questions create misunderstanding between them. Moreover, Shirogane’s answers seem to confuse the duo.

He tells her that underwear that is too simple bores him. The new student council president reveals that something that is kind of colorful is his style.

However, he realizes that her line of questioning is hinting towards something else. He thinks that Kaguya wants to know what kind of underwear he wants her to wear. He misinterpreted her questions.

Later, to make up for the confusion, Kaguya wants to give Shirogane a massage. However, her intentions are hinting towards something naughty. The episode also showcases Shirogane reading a shojo manga and moving to tears.
