Kaia Gerber, Jacob Elordi Fuel Dating Rumors After Zendaya's Viral Selfie

Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi were spotted out and about again and were holding hands while walking in New York.

Elordi was rumored to be dating Zendaya earlier this year. However, there were speculations that they already broke up because he has been spotted with Gerber in the past weeks. On Tuesday, the 19-year-old model and the "Kissing Booth" star even stepped out and enjoyed a PDA-filled date night in the Big Apple.

Gerber and Elordi walked hand in hand around the city to grab dinner. Gerber sported a black crop top with a matching black leather blazer on top of it. Meanwhile, the "Euphoria" star sported a floral shirt, cuffed jeans and brown boots. The pair wore face masks after stepping out from the restaurant, Page Six reported.

The sighting sparked rumors that the two are already an item and it happened days after Zendaya’s selfie went viral on Twitter receiving 1 million likes in just five hours. Many approved of Zendaya's braids in her selfies even if it wasn't the first time she rocked the hairstyle. However, the netizens were more interested in how fast the post received likes. Approximately 48,000 liked the post in six minutes and 200,000 after half an hour. One even predicted that it would be one of the most-liked tweets on the microblogging site.

Last week, Gerber and Elordi were also enjoying dinner at Nobu in Malibu. According to Entertainment Tonight, they spent two hours at the restaurant and left together in his Range Rover and headed to her home.

Due to Elordi's outings with Gerber, there have been rumors that he already split with his "Euphoria" co-star Zendaya. Elordi and Zendaya never confirmed their romance. However, many were convinced that they were dating because they had been spotted in multiple outings together.

In August 2019, Zendaya and Elordi holidayed in Athens, Greece. However, in December of the same year, Elordi likened her to a sister.

"She's super dope to work with," he told GQ.

"She's an incredible artist and a very caring person to all of us. But we're all really close. There is not one weak link in that show. We've spent so much time together and everyone is just so cool to work with."

Earlier this year, Zendaya called Elordi her best friend. However, they were spotted getting cozy in New York with Elordi kissing the top of her head.

Meanwhile, Elordi doesn’t pay attention to various rumors about his dating life. The “Kissing Booth 2” star doesn’t feel that it’s his business to care about what the people are saying even if involves his name.

"It just has my name involved in it but it literally has nothing to do with me. It just doesn't affect the trajectory of my life. So I just kind of ignore it," he told ET on how he deals with the rumors while dating publicly.
