Kaia Gerber looks a splitting image of her supermodel mom Cindy Crawford in a new Instagram picture. The 14-year-old model, naturally a brunette, shared a picture of her wearing short platinum blonde tresses. She shared the photograph with her 422,000 followers on the photo sharing app Friday.

The teen was having fun by sporting her new ‘do’ — a platinum blonde look. “Just a lil wig :),” she captioned the picture. The picture of Kaia has got 22,800 likes and 297 comments. Her followers were quick to comment on her new look.

“How does she look good either way? I don't get it!” wrote one, while another one said: “So Gwen Stefani.” Some users also commented that the teen’s innocence was being slowly ripped away, while one said her natural hair was nice. Another one wrote that she resembled her mom.

Earlier, the mother-daughter duo kicked up a storm on the cover of Vogue Paris. Kaia and Cindy dazzled on the cover as they posed together for the April cover of the French fashion bible. Both were dressed in black leather jackets for the shoot.

This was Kaia’s first-ever magazine cover and the duo’s first joint magazine cover. Kaia and her 50-year-old mom Cindy, both brunette beauties, wore matching leather jackets by Courrèges and accessorized with hoop earrings. The pair were twinning on the Vogue Paris cover.

“What is life?!! I honestly can't breathe right now. a million thank you’s to @vogueparis & @mariotestino!!” Kaia captioned the picture shot by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino. Cindy also took to Instagram and shared the picture. In October, Kaia turned heads in a strapless Emporio Armani dress at a party hosted by Teen Vogue.

She even sported her mom’s signature tousled hairstyle at the star-studded young Hollywood soiree. An eyewitness told ET that the teen had clearly been taught how to pose, as she was flipping her hair and smiling expertly on the red carpet. Kaia started modeling at the age of 10. She then starred in a Young Versace ad but made a gradual start in the industry.
