Kaidence Donda West: Is This Kim Kardashian And Kanye’s Baby Name?

Never has there been more speculation over a baby's name -- though we may have to revise that when Kate Middleton’s bun comes out of the oven in July).

Since Kim Kardashian gave birth over the weekend, five weeks early, the world has been patiently waiting for the Kardashian clan to announce the name of her newborn daughter with Kanye West. But the wait might be over, according to a new report.

MediaTakeOut reported a nurse at the Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai hospital tending to Kardashian said the baby’s name is Kaidence Donda West. The nurse claimed family members “repeatedly mentioned” the name in Kardashian’s hospital room. The source also added the baby, whose middle name is a tribute to West’s late mother, is “gorgeous” and looks “just like her mama.” A friend of the Kardashian family also told E! News this week that the baby “has dark hair. She looks just like Kim."

However, another report alleged the baby girl’s name is actually Kai Georgia Donda West. MTV UK reported that “Georgia” could be a tribute to West's childhood home or to Kardashian’s late father Rob, whose middle name was George. "Kai" could also be short for "Kaidence."

Neither the Kardashian family nor West has released an official statement revealing the name, but the new mom herself told E! News’ Ryan Seacrest via email on Tuesday that she is doing well. "Can't believe it. So crazy!" she told the radio host.

Kardashian gave birth to her daughter on Saturday, five weeks before her projected due date. E! reported the delivery was natural and the baby weight was “just under five pounds.” The unexpected arrival of baby Kimye proved difficult for the family, according to a source of the family, though. "This was not planned. This came on very quickly," the source told E!. “The whole family was dispersed all over the place!"

Khloe Kardashian also tweeted on Sunday that both her sister and the baby are doing fine and that the family would release a statement soon.

"I can not [sic] even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love,” she wrote. "More info will come when the time is right! Thank you all for understanding! We love you all dearly! Overwhelmed with love right now ♥"

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner also added that her daughter is “fine.” "We're all good ... and extremely happy and thrilled for the new baby. She's doing great and she's beautiful." Family friend Larsa Pippen told E! that Kim is "feeling really good and excited” and Kanye West “is, like, in love with the baby," who is "so freaking cute."
