Kail And Javi Cancel Tell-All Book, Is ‘Teen Mom’ Briana DeJesus To Blame?
“Teen Mom 2” lead Kail Lowry has released several books since rising to fame on the MTV series, but fans shouldn’t expect to get their hands on her and ex Javi Marroquin’s shared tell-all series anytime soon.
On Friday, the TV personality confirmed that she her ex-husband are no longer planning to release their “He Said, She Said” books, which would document their different stories on their failed marriage.
“We are no longer moving forward with it,” Kail wrote to one follower on Twitter. “But there are other projects coming.”
Kail explained the reason behind their decision to cancel the release in an interview with Us Weekly. According to the mother of three, it was a combination of their co-parenting relationship with 4-year-old son Lincoln and their new romances which made them decide to pull the plug on their book plans.
“I wanted to keep our co-parenting relationship intact,” Kail told the magazine. She added the two also didn’t want to “make any significant others uncomfortable,” saying, “We would have had to spend time together for promos and book tour, but we are not in a place to do that right now.”
As previously reported, Javi has been dating “Teen Mom 2” newcomer Briana DeJesus and, as fans may have anticipated, their romance hasn’t been completely drama-free. Briana and Kail have engaged in a few online feuds since the romance was announced.
Kail has also moved on romantically. She announced last month on her shared podcast “Coffee Convos” that she has a girlfriend. “We were friends for a year, so it just kind of turned into it. It’s not like she was trying to wine and dine me to ask me to be her girlfriend,” Kail told co-host Lindsie Chrisley.
While fans may be upset that won’t be able to get their hands on Kail and Javi’s book, they can check out her other titles. Her 2016 memoir “Hustle and Heart,” her debut book “Pride Over Pity,” and her children’s book “Love Is Bubblegum” are out now.
