Kailyn Lowry Custody Battle Details Emerge, Javi Marroquin Reportedly Fighting For Stepson Isaac

Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin have more than a divorce case on their plate. One media report indicated the “Teen Mom 2” stars are also planning to engage in a custody battle.

Two weeks after Kailyn confirmed she and her deployed U.S. Air Force husband are ending their three-year marriage, Life & Style magazine has reported Kailyn is planning to fight for full custody of 2-year-old son Lincoln. A source told the publication the 24-year-old mother of two is planning to use rumors Javi was unfaithful to get her way. “Kailyn plans to tell the court she believes Javi is a cheater and she has been the one fully taking care of their son while he’s been away,” the source said.

But that doesn’t mean Javi will be giving up easily. The source said Javi believes he “deserves” custody of Lincoln, as well as the right to see 6-year-old stepson Isaac, who Kailyn shares with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera. “He’s spent the past three years helping co-parent Isaac,” the source said. “And thinks he deserves partial custody of him. He’s ready to fight.”

Kailyn confirmed she and Javi are separated last month. Her confirmation came several days before the “Teen Mom 2” Season 7 finale, which showed the couple discussing their future, or the lack thereof. In the episode, Javi revealed he couldn’t stay in the marriage in the event Kailyn didn’t want another child. He called her reasons for not wanting a third baby “bulls---” after she said she wanted to focus on her career. Kailyn also told a friend she and Javi had been discussing divorce for a while and it felt as though they were “beating a dead horse.”

And while Kailyn and Javi are garnering attention centered on their failed marriage, she has also been causing some buzz over rumors of her fluid sexuality. Sunday, she posted a photograph on Snapchat that showed her kissing friend Becky Hayter at a gay pride celebration in New Jersey. The since-deleted photo was accompanied by an Instagram post of Hayter wrapping her arm around the reality-television star with the caption, “girlfriend status.”

Hayter fueled the relationship rumors, posting a photo of Kailyn that she captioned, “forbidden fruit.” She also shared an image of herself posing with Kailyn and her two sons, calling the picture a “family photo.”

Despite the rumors, Kailyn claims she did not leave Javi for another person. She is believed to be dishing about her sexuality in her forthcoming tell-all, “Hustle & Heart,” which drops this fall.
