A Texas judge will determine Wednesday whether some evidence will be thrown out of Kaitlin Armstrong's upcoming murder trial for allegedly killing cyclist Moriah Wilson.

Armstrong, 34, is charged with fatally shooting professional cyclist Moriah Wilson, 25, over a love interest. Armstrong is alleged to have killed Wilson after suspecting Wilson was romantically involved Armstrong's boyfriend, Colin Strickland.

Armstrong has pleaded not guilty.

Armstrong's attorneys argue that detectives improperly collected some evidence early in their investigation and it should not be admitted during trial. In particular, Armstrong's attorneys argue detectives lied in their application for an arrest warrant. They are also seeking to exclude a video of the first interview detectives had with Armstrong before she fled the country.

Wilson reportedly met Strickland during a break from his long-term relationship with Armstrong. According to an Austin Police Department affidavit, Armstrong was jealous of the relationship.
