Kaley Cuoco Celebrates ‘Big Bang Theory’ 11 Premiere Success With Cast Photo
Kaley Cuoco is elated to know that the premiere episode for “Big Bang Theory” Season 11, which aired on Monday night, raked in a total of 17 million viewers.
On her Instagram account, the actress shared a photo with her “Big Bang Theory” co-stars. All of them are wearing colorful clothing and sunglasses. In her caption, Cuoco thanked every “single person who tuned in” during the Season 11 premiere. She also expressed her gratitude to all of the fans of the show for supporting her and her co-stars throughout the past couple of seasons.
In the premiere episode, titled “The Proposal,” Sheldon (Jim Parsons) learned Amy’s (Mayim Bialik) answer to his question. She said yes to her boyfriend’s proposal, but not after Sheldon got distracted with a call from his best friend, Leonard (Johnny Galecki).
Sheldon also managed to tell Amy that Ramona (Riki Lindhome) kissed him, but did so indirectly. Sheldon was on the phone with Leonard when he told him that he flew to New Jersey after Ramona kissed him. The kiss made him realize that he only wants to be with Amy for the rest of his life.
Amy’s reaction to Sheldon’s indirect confession also came as a surprise to viewers. When the two saw each other at the cafeteria, Amy approached Ramona and instead of getting angry at her, she gave her a tight hug and said “thank you.” For Amy, if Ramona did not kiss Sheldon, he still wouldn’t have proposed to her.
Meanwhile, another major storyline from “Big Bang Theory” Season 11 centered on Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) finding out that she’s pregnant again. When she told her husband, Howard (Simon Helberg), the news, it was obvious that he wasn’t happy. Howard panicked at the thought of having another child, but he was later on consoled by his wife.
Howard and Bernadette also thought of ways to handle her second pregnancy and encouraged Leonard and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) to consider having children as well. The couple wasn’t thrilled with the idea, so it’s more likely that Leonard and Penny will not have a baby anytime soon.
“Big Bang Theory” Season 11 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
