Kaley Cuoco is Set to Tie the Knot with Josh Resnik

Kaley Cuoco, the actress from the sitcom The Big Bang Theory is engaged to addiction specialist, Josh Lazie Resnik. In an exclusive report, People magazine said that the 25-year-old actress' rep confirmed the news.

The surprise proposal took place during a quiet date night at home, the rep said, The couple is very happy and excited to begin planning their wedding.

The wedding date is yet to be decided and the couple sounds like they are very excited about taking their relationship to the next level. Cuoco previously dated her Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki, for two years. However, she was tight-lipped about the relationship throughout.

It was such a huge part of my life and no one knew about it. It was a wonderful relationship, but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together, said the actress to CBS Watch magazine.

The actress created quite the media buzz when she joked on the red carpet for the Golden Globes Awards that she was engaged and showed off a huge diamond ring on her ring finger.

I'd like you to know who I'm engaged to -- Chopard, the jewelry designer, she announced. She later revealed that she'd worn the borrowed ring on that particular finger because it fit perfectly.

After her rep announced her engagement with Resnik, an excited Cuoco tweeted thanking her fans for the good wishes: Thanks to everyone's well wishes! So sweet and means a lot to us! #ecstatic.
