Daniel mesmerized the audience with his amazing dancing skills and expressions as he portrays his journey in the music video. The singer also co-wrote the lyrics to the song, giving it a memorable and personal touch.

During the press conference, Daniel explained that he wrote the lyrics while experiencing psychological hardships in the past.

"It took a lot of time to talk about the most inner thoughts that are hidden. I wanted to talk openly about my concerns and my inner thoughts with people," he said, according to Allkpop.

"There was a time when everything seemed too much and too difficult for me. I used to boast that I had a strong steel mentality, but I think over time, I became weaker. There was a time I took a break because of my health. This was when I wrote this song to capture my story during that time," he further explained.

While talking about his decision to release the new song, Daniel expressed he wanted to showcase how much he’s matured as an artist and a person and convey his feelings by expressing them in the form of lyrics.

"After finishing the recording, I thought, 'Such dark topic and dark things can be just simply shared like this.' I was happy because I felt like I overcame my pain," the singer mentioned.

"I think I was able to feel that my inner strength grew. It's like I surpassed my past self. My perspective became wider, and I am able to see things around me that I wasn't able to see before," he continued.

The 24-year-old revealed that the choreography was inspired by the movies "Venom" and "Constantine."

"The choreography is the result of thinking a lot about how to portray my story and the emotions behind it without being too stimulating,” he added.

"Paranoia" surpassed over 3.8 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release.
